Welcome to the
Central Texas Parrot Head Club
Where the Heart of Margaritaville Lives On!
The purpose of the Central Texas Parrot Head Club is to provide charitable and educational activities that promote the general welfare of Austin and the Hill Country in Central Texas. Our club is a local 501 (c) non-profit chapter of the Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc., whose purpose is to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people who are interested in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies.
We have had a Phantastic response to the 2o14 CTXPHC Membership Renewals! Thank you for your support!
Parrot Head communication is one of the many benefits of membership! Unfortunately, after March 31st, only 2014 club members will remain on all proprietary CTXPHC communications. We really want you to remain in the loop of all things PHun. So, renew your membership today and see what our new Promotions Crew is concocting for us to enjoy throughout 2014! Renew today and don’t miss out on anything!
So it’s that time of year again when we dust our pheathers and our wallets off for those furry, feathered, and scaly phriends of ours down at the Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary! Last year we were able to raise $500 for them and I know we can blow that number out of the water with all of your help.
We will be collecting donations up to till the 21st of March and then will phlock on down to the Austin Zoo March 22nd for a free privately guided tour of the zoo by our own personal parrothead Toni Alberty where we will present our big phake check (and a real, smaller version) to the dedicated staff of this phantastic place.
Plus new for this year, we will be following up our tour of the zoo with lunch at the Nutty Brown Café where carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores alike will indulge in the phabulous food and drink of this true Austin icon.
Look for more deets coming in the near future, but for right now it’s as easy as click, fill out, and submit in keeping with our age old mantra of “partying with a purpose.”
Cap’n Mufasa Kyles!
